One of our little angels has been adopted by a lovely family who had a young Rottweiler but did the right thing by also adopting one of our pups! Nounourse has been with us since she was only weeks old, and we have loved seeing her grow into a beautiful young and playful dog. She and her other 4 siblings were picked up on the busy street in Baie du Cap. So close to being run over by the traffic. Thank you to this lovely family from Plaine Magnien for adopting a Happy Tails dog. We know that she will fit right in and bring you and your little Rotty many years of joy.

All the dogs at The Happy Tails Sanctuary were delighted and tummies were full of delicious goodies. Faisons un vœu pour 2020 que tous les chiens errants puissent trouver un refuge. Pour cela, Nathalie Duthil Cowhan, de la Happy Tails Foundation, demande à tous les Mauriciens de « shop and adopt a dog for this New Eve ». Cet élan d’amour est visible dans ce chenil de Baie-du-Cap, où 54 chiens errants ont retrouvé l’amour. Un des plus grands défis de cette association en 2020 est de mettre en place une école éducative pour que le Mauricien ait ce bon réflexe de connaître les enjeux d’avoir un chien chez soi afin de mettre un frein à la propagation des chiens errants.
